Simplest solution I can think of for college expansion.

Jun 30, 2022, 5:30 PM

Not gonna happen for a bunch of reasons, but this would be the simplest solution (at least that I can think of).

SEC adds FSU, Clemson, UNC and UVA.
B1G adds Pitt, ND, Washington and Oregon.

Two conferences, 20 teams each.

Each conference has four divisions of 5.
Each conference has a playoff for the conference championship. (4 division winners)
Conference champs play each other for national championship.

This would be akin to NL and AL in baseball.

Not predicting it will happen. Not even saying if I were king I would mandate it. Just saying it is the simplest solution I can think of.

Man that makes way too much sense but we are currently living in a chaotic society where those that run the show have little to none of that unfortunately.

The simplest would be if FSU and Miami picked themselves up

off the mat and become much better football programs. If we had 4 - 5 very good teams then we'd be in position to add Penn State and Notre Dame.

Penn State has always seemed like a good fit for the ACC. I've really enjoyed the Notre Dame Rivalry. Perhaps, now would be a good time for Penn State to make a move.

The ACC has relatively new leadership and in a short period of time the league will improve dramatically… I think!

If you can’t see several of the league teams working hard to be more competitive then you have your head in the sand.

Some need to put the hatred behind and support the ACC. Hard for many to do I realize.

Why would Penn State leave their money and join the ACC. Makes no sense it's time to change your thinking or get left behind. The only loyalty is to self. If u can't see that your blind. The ACC either makes a big move or get left in the dust times are changing and it's fast!

We keep hearing year after year that ACC

Teams are improving. Don't see it. Clemson needs to get out of we can. Reality bites.
