Brownell tried to call a TO...

Feb 7, 2017, 10:11 PM

Right before the final play, and we didn't have any left. His assistant coaches caught him before the refs saw him, but otherwise would have been a technical foul a la Chris Weber. How the heck does the coach not know how many timeouts he has?!

Timeouts can't come from the bench

Brad Brownell: more losses than any other coach in school history.

Which makes it even funnier I guess. Not only does he not know how many he had, but he doesn't even know the rules.

The reason he was wanting a TO was because he called a play

Feb 7, 2017, 10:13 PM

in the previous TO and at least one of the players was in the wrong position and still couldn't figure out where to be even with him wildly waving his arms to get down court...

You sure? I thought we still had one left.

In fact, I was wondering why the he!! he didn't use it after he saw the Cuse line-up on the court.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

How about we just stop talking about it...

it's very depressing.

Starting to remind me of Hatfield football.

I'll trust DRad and the Administration to do what is right and I'll continue to support the players & coaching staff.

Why would the basketball coach try to call a timeout right before DW's pass to renfrow? makes no sense.

He should of had number 50 standing with arms up at the in bound and every body else with a man.
It would have took longer to get down the court and if everyone is covering their man no shot.
If some how they get a break away oh well we go to OT.
But to just let them bring it up was about stupid and it cost us another win.

badb: There you go again being absolutely correct! Of course you guard the pinball pass to m are the guy throwing the ball in have a more difficult time. There put a fast guy on their free throw line with 2 at mid court and Jaron near the basket in the key about 5 ft or so from the basket. You never let them b ring the ball up as easy as they did! Period end off discussion.
