The PF from UMKC just commited to New Mexico.
actually didn't like their chances with him because this was the position Clemson as by far the strongest.
Again, not sure Clemson us currently involved with any other transfers in portal. Most of the really good ones are gone. Concerning now...

Why would they need another transfer when it would appear that the addition of Dillon Hunter not only completed the scholarship roster, but filled remaining need for 22-23 season?

Dillion Hunter is still raw as a shooter scorer. He is not expected to be a bigtime immediate factor.. Don't fool yourself. He was not the equivalent of Llewellyn the transfer lead guard from Princeton who decommited.
All the top just pgs on this team currently are first year players.
Yes, Chase Hunter and Galloway are considered combo guards probably is the direction they are going to maybe go now.
Just curious, as of right now when lost both Dawes and Honor the top PGs transfered, do you feel like Clemson answered their needs from the Portal right now?
Again, things could change but not looking good as of right now...

You say brownell hasn't done #### in 12 years while at the same time sucking Oliver Purnell's #######. If brownell hasn't done anything, then neither did Purnell.
And I never said we upgraded every position. I said brownell typically replaces outgoing transfers, with incoming transfers as good or better. That is a fact. If you don't seee that then you are an idiot. Can you name an outgoing transfer that had a significant impact at the school they transferred to? The only one that comes to mind could be prosper, but he didn't even start at Marquette last year.
At this point, Brownell has not upgraded our transfer talent this year, but there is still time.

Are you special? Please refute my comments with facts. Please send me a list of good players that transferred form here and had successful college careers.
We have had marquise reed, Shelton Mitchell, Elijah Thomas, Avery Holmes, tevin Mack, mark donnal, David Collins, naz bohannan, nick honor, Jonathon baehre, Curran Scott, David skara, etc all come and make an impact.
Who have we lost that went on to average 10+ points a game at another school? Do your homework!

Brownell is the 38th highest paid coach in America, but he's finished in the top 40 only twice in 12 years, one of those with Purnell's guys.
That's the point. We haven't gotten better in spite of supposedly adding better players.

It’s dumbfounding that you actually think you’re winning this kind of argument. Even at its most literal “lost” does not exclusively mean to be unable to find something or fail to retain something. It also means failure to gain or losing a contest. The latter being clearly the meaning best conveyed under these circumstances. We had planned to at least welcome the player to campus for a visit. He denied us that opportunity by committing to another school. That’s a loss, no matter how triggered you are by the word and no matter how insistent you are on demonstrating your profound ignorance.

I will say there are some guys that tested the NBA Draft process but are jumping back in as portals if they don't get invited to the combine. Notable names would be Pete Nance (yes, his son) at Northwestern. Teddy Allen from NMSU( yes the guy who upset UConn in the NCAAT) and Emmanuel Bandoumel at SMU as well as planty of more.
It is worth noting assistant Billy Donlon was an assistant at Northwestern when they were recruiting Pete Nance, besides think his family is very familiar with Clemson.
