TD throw to the Gamecock commitment. He drops back, has a DE flying in untouched from his "blind side" and he makes a slight head and step fake as though he may turn his back on the defense and roll out the the left side. That breaks the stride of the rusher. Cade then explodes out of the pocket and outruns both DEs to get the ball off for a TD.

To me, that was the play that really shows what he brings to the table. Heady and calm under pressure, with great feet and athleticism to make a play when the Oline inevitably breaks down against a good defense. That's what it takes from the QB position to win a National Championship.

Hopefully that is the last pass completion Cade makes to a coot.

I would have loved to see him throw the ball

out of the end zone and tell everyone he will never throw to a Gamecock. That would have made him a legend!! The TD was nice anyway!!

He wanted his team to win. He'll have zero respect for the receiver, soon to be a coot, he through it to very shortly, and it'll last a lifetime.

I loved the fact he was able while moving to lead the receiver where said receiver was the only one that could catch it. No chance a defender can catch up. Big time play.

This young man is very impressive, and I project him to become even better very soon. I do hope that both he and DJ stick around for the entire next season, no matter which one separates himself from the other. After the season is over, I can understand if one thinks he should move on, but not mid-stream. JMO, but I HATE this portal and transferring crap.
