respond yet? I'm curious to see what they say since they're such a huge city with lots of people and most likely a good amount of gangs. They might be ready for a fight, who knows?

Last night, a local radio show led off with the sound bite of Watson being announced as the 12th pick. The host then went on for about 10 minutes about how happy he was. Said he started to run naked in the streets when they made the pick. No one thought the ultra conservative Texans would make a move to get him.
The fans are thrilled here. There is a lot of buzz and renewed enthusiasm from the fans here. I get questioned by friends about him all the time. I am loving it. I think the Texans have a real shot at a Super Bowl with Watson/Hopkins and the defense we have.
At worst, Houston is pretty laid back when it comes to getting on players compared to other major cities. I think he will be given a chance to get better (learn the system, etc.) before the fans and media start on him. The only thing he has going against him is the Osweiller fiasco. People here were burnt pretty bad on that, but hopefully, they will give him the chance he deserves.
