The PAC 12 has absolutely nothing to offer the ACC

Jul 6, 2022, 8:08 PM

Especially not enough to agree to play a championship game in their back yard. This is absolutely stupid. Id rather see an alliance with the Big 12, at least they actually care about football.

This is ALL about MONEY!

There are no other significant issues THAT MONEY WON'T OVERCOME, sadly.

Get your mind around it.

You could make a good conference by taking a handful of teams from the PAC, B12, and ACC.

Oregon, Stanford, Utah, Washington plus OK State, Baylor, Houston, Texas Tech, etc. Add 6 or 7 from the ACC and you might have a good league.

I don't know if it could command enough TV money to compete.

I just listened to Andy Staples' podcast. He thinks everyone waits for ND to make the 1st move. ND leaving it's ACC partnership diminishes the value of the ACC product and could help us get out of the GOR obligations.
