The only reason an upper-echelon SEC team should lose at this point is the fatigue of the grinder.

I think we all understand that.

Not all heroes wear capes - some are in the Southeastern Conference.

Thank goodness “we don’t play nobody.”

Clemson. Tigers. Lessgo.

I has the confused. Are UGA and UT upper echelon? Recall they play on the 5th. Somebody’s got to lose. Same with the SECCG. What about Bama at LSU? Or are they no longer upper echelon?

Sorry for my valley girl impression/reply, but just wondering….

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

“Either Tenn or UGA will certainly lose, but the loss will definitely be because of the wear & tear of that bruuuutal SEC schedule, not necessarily because one is that much better, if at all.”

No, some of us know more about football than that. Teams lose because on any given date, the world will not stop if an underdog wins a game because they give scholarships just like the favorites do.

The infamous SEC grinder

Oct 27, 2022, 11:01 AM

You do know who gets ground up in the infamous SEC grinder, right?

In the last 20 seasons the grinder teams in the SEC include SC with 6 losing seasons,Ole Miss with 8 losing seasons, Tennessee with 9 losing seasons, Arkansas with 9 losing seasons, Mississippi State with 11 losing seasons, Kentucky with 12 losing seasons and Vandy with 18 losing seasons. TAMU and Missouri at 3-4 right now seem to be rounding into grinder shape pretty well.
