Baseball America used to be the one that was the most steady. They basically focused on weekend series wins.
Collegiate Baseball was more all over the place. They were probably a better gauge of how a team was doing at that minute.
The USA Today Coaches poll has more problems than normal since there are more games to keep up with.
d1Baseball started doing a poll once Aaron Fitt left Baseball America. Fitt and Kendall Rogers generally do a very good job with baseball coverage. But the d1 poll is similar to the Baseball American poll from a methodology standpoint.

they are all pretty wacky

it's hard to rank baseball programs because anybody can lose any given game. Weekend losses hurt less than weekday losses, and wins tend to count less too.

The only way to really take a huge jump is from a road sweep. That's how the Chickens got their boost.

very true

Tough to gauge how good a team is in general unless they just beat everyone or lose to everyone

the only think a pole was good for was holding-up a tent.

Somehow I doubt he ever went to 4-Play, Scores or the Gold Club
