What was supposed to be a strength on this team has turned out to be average at best. The run blocking has been downright terrible for the most part and was one of the big reasons we lost that game. Can't get ONE yard in two tries against Pitt? That's just sad.

Pass blocking has been decent but I think a lot of the deficiencies there have been covered up by Watsons ability to avoid pressure. Put a QB back there who isn't great at that and we'd all feel differently.

Something needs to change. I'm tired of all the excuses for our inability to develop a good o-line.

I completely agree! I hate to say it but Alabama d line would have a field day with the plat this point. Even against subpar teams they can't get any movement with out dex and Wilkins

Exactly, so our coaches' decision to run on 3rd and 4th are even more alarming.

Our running game didn't work all day yesterday. Our passing game did. So why on earth did we insist on running on the two most important offensive plays of the day?!? Stubborn coaching. It must improve.

I knew we didn't have a lot of experience on the OL, but wow. I didn't realize just how young we are there. Looking at the roster - wow. Not surprising we are struggling at that position. OL is a position where experienced depth is crucial.
