Deshaun is being mistreated, free him from persecution

Below is an essay regarding the press's mistreatment of Deshaun Watson. We have lost respect for Deshaun as his crimes are not even that bad. It is necessary to reinstate this holy back into the National Football League, as the NFL has mistreated him far too violently.
Reason 1 Deshaun is innocent is his nice jawline. Every day he wakes up and sees that incredible mandible, as his confidence flows. Is this the man that we want to imprison away from the NFL? Currently, Deshaun is reduced to playing football with his inmates at the local prison, and hitting his spots with the local hooligans. Is this how we want to treat the greatest athlete in the history of mankind? It's an abomination on the NFL's part, as Deshaun's handsomeness is being wasted in prison.
Reason 2 is his incredible talent, on and off the field Deshaun is a role model for our children. This needs to be embraced rather than imprisoned. We should allow this kind of morality to manifest within our society, regardless of random crimes, Deshaun is a beacon of hope and morality, who cares about what society thinks of him, we need to embrace him. Deshaun is also one of the greatest QBs in NFL history, he's a winner. The fact people think he's a bad person or a bad athlete is beyond me.
Reason 3 is that he went to college at Clemson. Clemson is the best academic school in the world, do you think Clemson could ever emit a bad person? No. Of course not. Just the fact Deshaun went to Clemson invalidates any criticism of him. He is always right, along with anyone else who goes to that incredible school.
I hope you can consider the elements above and begin to embrace Deshaun rather than persecuting him. #IStandWithDeshaun

It’s nothing a massage can’t cure.
In all seriousness this is messed up. They need to go forward or give it up. At some point he deserves to start his punishment or be vindicated and move on with his life.

It's sad that he can no longer the ones he wants. It's so tragic.

The really sad/ironic thing is that he probably went for "massages" to avoid this kind of situation. The legal predators.

How about none of this stuff came out until he told his teams owner he'd never play for him again.
Or that Buzzbee is a known crook and tried to settle out of court before he got pressured into pressing charges after Watson and his attorney told him to kick rocks.
Or the fact that in this country you're innocent until found guilty.
I hope you find yourself in a situation where you're accused of something and everyone automatically assumes your guilty. Only way your type learns is when you experience things first hand. Let the process play out and respect that, but I doubt your type would do that.

I don't know if this is one essay I want to touch let alone grade. But in all honesty I wouldn't grade it. I'd just kick you out of class. Lets consider all 3 reasons, shall we as to why I would expel you. Reason 1; 1) All crimes are bad.2) He is not a holy back. He might be a flawed figure however.3) Lots of guys have nice jaw lines.4) He is not currently in prison.5) He is not the greatest athlete in the history of mankind.6) Again I repeat he is not in prison. Reason 2 1)He may have talent, but do seriously want a man whose character is under attack, according to you to be a role model for your children? I wouldn't.2)Again he is not in prison.3) What morality?4)A beacon is a restaurant in Spartanburg or a light from a lighthouse leading people to safety ,not down the road of immorality.5) Last time I checked, which was yesterday the greatest quarterback in NFL history was announcing his retirement. So how many Super Bowls as Deshaun won, let alone played in.6) Whether you, or anybody think he is a bad person is an opinion, not a fact. Reason 3 1) Clemson is a great university and has one of the best athletic dept. because of coaches like Dabo Swinney So does that make that Dabo a bad guy because he recruited a bad person? 2)Clemson is a good academic school, but not the best.3) Who says Deshaun is a bad person, but he was not admitted after the crimes he is charged with so your point is moot ,as are all your points ,IMO.4)Last time I checked only one person is always right, and I think Notre Dame calls him Touch Down Jesus. So in conclusion I will not judge Deshaun Watson, nor will I criticize the NFL for suspending him. He will have his day in court. But I will also be generous. I won't expel you. Instead I will suspend you like Whoopie-@$$ Goldburg was suspended from "The View " for making such idiotic claims.

The NFL did not suspend DW4

Thus far, the decision for him to not play is an internal Texans decision. The NFL may choose to suspend him pending results of the grand jury in Houston.

He has been sued in civil court. There is a huge difference. A grand jury has been convened to determine if there is any criminal activity but thus far there are no indictments. It is important to note the burden of proof is entirely different in civil court. There need only be a preponderance of the evidence to find in favor of the plaintiff in civil court. Criminal court requires a ruling beyond a reasonable doubt. There are no “guilty” rulings in civil court.

The one thing that stands out the most to me in regards to
Feb 2, 2022, 4:23 PM
|

this being a BS money grab driven by this attorney (and possibly his handlers) is that there hasn't been one single "victim" that anyone has heard about claiming any sort of trauma from all of this. Not one. With sexual assault, or similar, there is an aggrieved party who suffered some type of emotional scarring as a result and is seeking justice or retribution in some way. There hasn't been a hint of such in this ordeal. No one's cried. No emotional appeals to the press. In too many ways this comes across as a money grubbing, attention getting ambulance chaser driving the whole parade. This whole thing stinks to high heaven.
