NIL has not affected college sports yet and as long as there are scholarship limits, it may never affect sports. No school will ever have 85 players who were 5* recruits because they will not sit on the bench. Players want to play.

So the NCAA president hopes the federal government steps in and regulates the organization he's in control of. I guess he lacks the guts to do his job.

They simply aren't capable.

The NCAA has turned into a shake-down organization that extorts $$$ from Universities to basically do nothing.

It is not clear to me how the NCAA could have regulated in a significant way conduct and actions which the courts ruled as legal.
