Comeback Player of the Year

So Justyn Ross didn’t even get honorable mention? I know he didn’t light it up but neither did Milton. He found literally one doctor who said he had a chance to play again; and he came back to play and put himself in position to be drafted into the NFL.

You could count those deserving of any recognition from our offense on three fingers. No coaches, assistants or coordinator - they should return part of their pay. Hopefully better coaching and player development in the New Year.

was Shipley in my opinion. He's not only a great player but a positive leader on the team.

I think what we saw from Mafah was very encouraging. He just didn't really get the chance to show it off because Elliott's incompetent. Similarly, Pace was actually better than Shipley. He averaged 6.4 ypc compared to Shipley's 5.2 ypc, he just got a lot less carries. But yeah, no one in the passing game even needs to be in the discussion list for the honorable mentions for any award.

.. the coaches still coached ... the players still believed and played. Just because we didn't measure up to our high standards of immediate former years you want coaches to pay money back? Absurd!

At work if you company didn't perform at the level they projected because of individual performances or market conditions, are you going to give part of your salary back?

Some of the best advice a former manager gave me at the start of my career ... Never ask someone to do something that you wouldn't do yourself...

It makes you evaluate and understand the other side ... and keeps you humble.

For this year, maybe the coaches had to call vanilla plays because we weren't able to execute more sophisticated plays. Maybe key players weren't up to the task. Maybe there were so many injuries that players weren't on the same page to execute cleanly. Maybe bad luck caught up with us. Maybe we just had a lot of distractions or inexperienced players.

Whatever the reasons, we still can end up with a 10 win season. That's phenomenal!

Would you have jumped at a chance for a 10-3 season after we started 2-2? I certainly would have!

10 years ago if someone said you could have 2 Nattys but you'd have to "SUFFER" through a 10 win season, would you have taken it? IN A HEARTBEAT!!

Perspective people .. especially this time of year.
