Thomas really is because he doesn't fit into the left's strict adherence to ones racial identity determines ones ideology. To the left, all "people of color" must think or act in a certain way or else they are demeaned as Uncle Tom's or "they ain't black".
I can highly recommend "My Grandfather's Son" which is Clarence Thomas' memoir. If more people, especially the left, had read his book they would understand his background and how he transformed from an angry left leaning radical in his youth to the Constitutional originalist he is today.

All his pics seemingly depict this brooding angry judge. It's ok to not like his judicial policy, but it is tiresome to depict him as an Uncle Tom who is less than intelligent. It's actually racist. If Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson is treated the same as Thomas by conservatives, The MSM will be howling.
