I really like Brad as a person but think he is not getting the job done at Clemson. Personally, I would rather him be successful and not need to change coaches. Changing coaches will probably cause the program to take a step back.
But if he cannot get this program winning the big games (ACC Tournament and NCAA Tournament) then the change needs to be made now and not prolong this mediocrity.
Clemson basketball players deserve the best leader and coach Clemson can hire. This is not about Brad it is what is best for the players.
Sometimes players love a coach because he is not pushing them hard enough.

Since 2016-17 (five seasons), Brownell is:

3-4 in ACC Tournament games
2-1 in NCAA Tournament games

To act like he hasn't won games in tournaments is satirical.

In 2 trips to the NCAA with Clemson, he's 3-2. The two losses were to WVU and Kansas. WVU was a game we could have won, but we were hurt by the scheduling mistake the NCAA made (first year of the First Four). Kansas was a 1 seed in the Sweet 16.

We tend to be prepared and play well in the NCAAT under Brad, when we get there.
