I just muted him on Twitter and will be ignoring any posts, TV shows, radio...anything associated with him starting...now. This is what someone like PF fears most.

is twofold:
First, by riling us up, he is getting more hits on his Twitter than usual. ESPN loves this because it brings more attention to his show.
Secondly, he is running scared. He does not believe what he is saying but sees the potential downfall with Alabama. Dabo has separated himself from Saben and Big Ears doesn’t like this. Saben is all football, and that’s it. He has no personality, is rude, cannot keep a coaching staff, and, bottom line, is just a jerk.
Dabo makes life fun. Every Wednesday he has a dinner with all the coaches and their kids. He is not shy about mentioning his strong faith. He has rules and makes no exceptions, i.e. Xavier Thomas started August at third team. During the off season Dabo does numerous speeches on subjects that are not related to football. I could go on and on but you get the picture.
Let’s all vow to quit watching Finebaum and ignoring what we hear he says.

This particular creature has no place in the game - can’t play, can’t coach, can’t intelligently follow the action and break it down. Therefore he bites people like a horsefly to get attention. Every time you type his name it’s another $100 in his pocket. Stop paying him.

Last time I listened to and only time I watched PF was on the morning of January 10th 2017 while having breakfast at a Howard Johnson's after a late night trip back to the hotel and packing up the next morning. He seemed pretty benign and the scrambled eggs and bacon went down nicely.

It’s actually quite simple, if you must mention his name, just use his initials. Your post, while I think you meant well, had the opposite effect because countless people replied to your OP with his name in the subject. Playing right into his game.
This whole thing blows my mind at how upset people are getting over what he says. He’s paid to prop up the SEC. Maybe he has gone too far, but I certainly do not care. We are the reigning national champs. Enjoy it!

Usually, I type PF when referring to him. Wasn't sure if that would work with this. My message is to not listen to or watch him, read tweets, articles, etc that PF originated or that quotes him. And, please don't publicize it if you do. The constant barrage feels the same as being bombarded with the news--takes away from the joy of the season.

I'm starting to think some of the people who post about "I-1" or idiot 1 - are just SEC fans here to talk trash under the cover of a I-1 topic.
It's well established much like - shock jocks, entertainers(Kanye), etc. the more he stirs the pot the more eyes watch his show or listen to his radio show. Why do people bring it here specifically? B/C unlike our team - they don't have discipline enough to have a windshield mentality! Look at what is in front of you.
Ignore the outside noise.
If CU football team top to bottom was like the so called fans who always bring up I1 they would not be as successful. You have to be the best version of yourself and control the controllable things around you. Some dude running his mouth isn't going to help you execute in the game. It shouldn't be affecting people to the point they take the time to post it here either.
Unless - they are just some idiot SEC fans making trouble and trying to get people riled up? I think maybe.
