The drivel between Senkiw and Milstead has gotten to a point of embarrassing. I don't know how anyone could think this is acceptable on the flagship station of Clemson Athletics

Standard stuff, as far as talk radio sports goes. They discussed Finebaum's commnets about a possible Bama-Clemson rematch.
They debated whether Ohio St will be a Playoff contender and whether they will make it on name recognition over another one loss team.
Power rankings, etc... Pretty standard talk fare.

Radio listenership across the board is down. The public has many more outlets for information and entertainment than they used to.
In addition, radio stations are finding it more difficult to command the advertising dollars they used to. Businesses are no longer limited to radio and newspapers for advertising. As a result, radio stations are operating on less revenue than before.
A small station like WCCP has a fairly low budget, and doesn’t have many listeners. This is a recipe for a low quality product. Just because it has the “flagship” title doesn’t mean much in radio, just as it doesn’t in higher education (the University of South Carolina is the state’s “flagship” university).
I would encourage you to lower your standards for radio. The guys who work there are working for peanuts, mostly because they enjoy their jobs, and aren’t likely to rival what you hear on syndicated shows on XM or ESPN.
