Man are things going to get any worse or have they righted the ship? I cannot tell by the article but how in the world is the athletic department having to borrow funds on an SEC income?

It’s going to be a real bloodbath once they start to turn on Beamer over the next couple of years

We can hire Beamer after he gets fired. He'd fit better at Clemson anyways.

Yep. Probably make the same blunder they did with Muschamp by locking him into an expensive huge contract. Beamer could have a eight or nine win season this year in part by beating up on all the little brothers on their easy schedule this year like Charlotte, SC State and Ga. St. Did they not do the same with Muschamp after he had one good season early on?

The university in my opinion has finally reached a level of a dumpster fire,” said Rep. Kirkman Finlay, a Columbia Republican.

A dumpster could imply that there is perhaps some value (scrap, coot housing, etc) in which the fire is consuming.
the uOFsc has no value so is this a more fitting example?

“This place sucks so bad,” Caslen wrote. “I don’t know how

anyone can stand it."
You could call Caslen a plagiarist, bad president, or anything else in the book, but you have to admit, he could still recognize the truth when he saw it!

Caslen had a good one.
Lou Holtz would have had a better one if he had finished the 2nd part of a 2 part quote:
Part 1 (actual quote soon after Holtz's arrival as 'Head Ball Coach': "The only thing between Columbia and Hell in summer is a screen door."
Part 2 (potential quote which was Holtz's for the taking if he still gave a whit about S.Carolina): The only thing between Columbia and Hell was President Caslen. Goodbye Caslen, Hello Lucifer.

Wonder what happened to all the SEC money? Liked the comment that CU's board is a good example how things should be run. Also apparently continue to treat notable female benefactors in a shabby manner.

Also, "Some of the things they do makes you wonder, don't they?" They are just now noticing what everyone else has known for years. Amazing.
