The DJ era began at Bank of America Stadium vs UGA. Does it end there tomorrow?

A homecoming of sorts for DJ. He’ll return no longer a Heisman hopeful or playing for a shot at the National Championship. Instead maybe he can gain some form of redemption with an ACC title. It would be a fitting end to a not so illustrious career at Clemson

I do get the feeling that DJ's time at Clemson is winding down. I just do not see him coming back to Clemson next year. The pressure to perform is mounting game after game and I it does not appear that DJ can elevate his game to another level.

DJ's confidence is shot. The only true threat this offense has currently is the running game. That being said, it should be encouraging for Clemson fans to see how well the running game works with literally no passing game. If we get even an average passing game out of the QB and receivers next season we will see a lot of improvement in this offense.

I wish DJ all the best. I appreciate all the effort all our players put into the program. For DJ is simply has not worked out as expected. Perhaps he can find success in new surroundings. Either way, for both he and Clemson to get better they need go separate ways.

Well said! No one can ever be ashamed of having given it their best. I know I’ve come across as hard on him but it was never personal. He’s just not been a good fit here and i hope he does leave soon for his and our sake

He can always come back in a few years and join Dabo's staff. Maybe become the QB coach?

I was in a box during the UGA game, along with the SEC Commissioner and ACC Commisioner. Trevor Lawrence was in the adjacent box with a glass panel between us. I wrote a message on my phone and held it up to the glass near half-time - It said "Go suit up".

I was invited to the same box for this game and politely declined. I think I've see enough for this season. Hopefully my absence will relieve the jinx I might have caused against UGA.

I don’t blame you for politely declining. DJ’s shining moment was that game against ND and sadly has gotten worse since. Like you I knew we were in trouble as a program during that game
