I listened to Kenny Pickett on Sirius XM 84 this morning

Oct 28, 2021, 8:58 AM

Sounded a lot like how Trevor was in his last two years, building chemistry with his WR's. Putting in the effort in the off season. Not letting the NIL get in the way. Things that a 5th year senior should be doing.

Maybe our QB's can learn. I don't know. Call it talent... development... leadership... This year is what it is. A fresh start is what is needed.

I hope Pitt wins the ACC. I don't think I can stomach a wolfpup win.

Weak Florist beats the pups! Mark it down!

Thanks for the recap. Pickett played a heckuva game against us. Sometimes, you just have to tip your cap to your opponent, and it makes it easier when they win with class.

Narduzzi on the other hand…. not so much.

As for an ACC Champ, I’m pulling for Wake - but not when we play them! Definitely pulling AGAINST the wolfpack. If Pitt wins it, I guess I would be okay with that, too. For the players, anyway.

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

The defense had Pickett shut down until mid 2nd quarter

The first 5 Pitt drives ended with 4 punts and a fumble. But they made the necessary adjustments to put together a couple TD drives before the half frustratingly converting long 3rd downs and maybe getting some help with the questionable PI call to extend a drive. Even after that, their offense was held to just 2 field goals in the 2nd half.

Pickett did show a lot of poise in the pocket and could scramble and make plays. Being a 5th year senior helps to have a Joe Burrow Heisman like season after some average years. There's no substitute for experience.

One of those adjustments included having our linebacker commit and egregious late hit personal foul on third down to extend a touchdown drive. Bottom line if Clemson had executed at just an average level we’re not talking about him this week as a the next hot Heisman candidate.
