The Briles decision says more about

May 26, 2016, 1:18 PM

Baylor, than it does about Briles. Personally, I hope Art Briles lands on his feet.

The reality of life is that the court of public opinion requires just that, opinion, not fact.

Beware Dabo, goodwill can be destroyed very quickly. Like good pitching, you can never have enough of it. Briles let his goodwill tank drop too low.

I will admit I don't know the guy as a person, nor do I know what he was aware of. I do know that he is an unbelievable coach who can build a winner. Seriously, I mean Houston then Baylor, dude can coach am offense. But if he was aware of any of that mess and let it slide, I hope he never holds another whistle.

I can't believe they're letting the AD stay and school president stay, though he's been reduced to "chancellor" which is basically the same thing. Even if you look at it with no feeling at all about the crimes or whatever, wouldn't you think any competent lawyer would tell Baylor "you need to get rid of all these guys 'cos those women are getting ready to file lawsuits galore and it sure as hell doesn't help if you keep any of these guys around."

If what is being reported is anywhere close to true, I do not wish him any luck. I hope he finds Jesus maybe. Also, it appears that this was a top to bottom failure as a Staff/Team/University and it is unbelievable that they named an interim HC from inside the program.
