For me is: will the coaches allow DJ to run the ball? Film study this week will show numerous times in the Georgia game where a QB run would have been a very,very positive play. Was not running on the quarterback or the coaching staff? The offensive line play was not good but the QB play wasn’t good either. That can be fixed quickly I would think. Agree.

I know that Taisun Phommachanh was technically released to play, but it appeared to me that DJ was told not to run for fear of not having a battle-ready backup. I watched some of DJ's high school games in which he showed as an instinctive runner when the pass was not available.

So my theory is that the coaches did not want to put Phommachanh in the game against UG and therefore would not allow DJ to run. Given the competition in the coming weeks, I do expect to see DJ run more since Taisun should be able to win those games if DJ were injured.

I'm no expert, but this board is full of opinions and this one is mine.
