The Rosebud (Italian/American). They have 2-3 locations. Several years ago, I sat next to Former Bills Coach Marv Levy. It was his Birthday. Great food and a good time.

Do yourselves a favor and don’t go alone. Much safer in groups especially if you are with a charter group. I personally don’t go into Chicago any more since I am older and can’t move around as well as did a few years ago. Don’t like being a downer, but safety in groups. Safe travels to all headed up next week. BEAT THE DOMERS.

But Chicago was surprisingly very clean. I never felt unsafe.

Rosebud on Rush is good Italian. Also, Volare on Michigan Ave is good Italian.

If you like deep dish pizza, Gino's East not far off the Miracle Mile on Superior St is a good choice. 5 or 6 years ago it was a decent area. You won't go wrong with any of the other places listed on this post either.

Both are really good. Also Chicago Chophouse is also great. I don’t care for Chicago deep dish pizza, but love Chicago hotdogs.
