Obviously, he missed the tongue and cheek.
Seriously, though it seems that Stewie thinks that either the wheels fall off or we have a couple stumbles, likely early in the season. Maybe we drop that far if we lose to ND, Louisville, Ga Tech, and FSU. That's very possible, but IMO, not likely considering that 3 out of 4 are home games. 1-3 or 2-2 vs that schedule leaves us in the 8-4 to 10-2 range depending on whether we have another stumble against somebody like NC State or usc-e (again, not likely). Even if we're 8-4 and 5-3 in the conference, I think that the league would send either Ga Tech or Louisville out west based on geography if nothing else.

The Belk Bowl picks before the Sun. The playoffs,

then the ACC Champ or representative will be in the Peach or the Fiesta. After this,there's the Russell Athletic, one of the Music City and the Taxslayer (Gator) and then the Belk before the Sun. If we don't win the ACC but go at least 9-3 we're not slipping below Jacksonville. Then, if we were to pull an 8-4 I don't see Charlotte passing us up (we still might not fall below Jacksonville). In my mind we're either in the Fiesta or headed to Jacksonville (I don't think that we would go back to Orlando). Let's just do the playoffs!!!! GO TIGERS!!!!!
