of people across the country. Granted, we have not looked great for much of the year, but we just dominated the #10 team in the country, and we are 8-3. We should at least be in there.

Exactly, they are completely writing off Clemson and giving zero credit to the defense….

is perceived compared to a team with a great d and a suspect offense. Think yesterday shows teams with D need respect too. I think we hung pretty good vs the #1 team in the country without an offense. To say we can't even get in at 25? Wisconsin is 18 for crying out loud at 8-3.

plays the disrespect card very well. It’s not that the poll actually matters at this point though. I hope our guys go out there with a fire in their belly Saturday night and Elliot calls his best game of the year.

It shows you what the perception is of the ACC. Clemson needs to pack up and find a new home!

The SEC isn't accepting any new members...

Where are we going?
Big 10? No thanks. Big 12? Nearly a mid major league without Oklahoma and Texas. Pac10? Never.

I'm pretty sure if Clemson really wanted the SEC, the SEC would find a place for Clemson in the SEC!!! Actually, that would probably spring open what the SEC are planning for in their future, a super conference, bc, if Clemson left the ACC for the SEC, FSU would follow, probably Miami and V Tech also....

That subject won't be taken to well here, but that has been my personal feeling for quite sometimes now. If the SEC is the best conference in college FB, that is where I believe we belong. If an old adage that Iron sharpens Iron is true, the best way to keep the iron claws of our Tiger sharp, then we should be playing in a conference where the most and best Iron is found.
Our Clemson Tigers miss out on some of the top recruits in the country mostly bc we don't play in the SEC, and without a doubt that is the fault of ESECPN. True or not true that the SEC is the best conference in college FB, that is what ESECPN preaches every waking moment during college FB, and all HS FB players that's getting ready to make the jump to the college level, they are believing the BS that ESECPN, and the SEC fans are singing every single day of the college FB season. And when other conferences can't beat them on a regular basis, the best teams of the other conferences should try to join them.
With the way that Dabo and staff has been able to recruit Clemson FB from the ACC, if we were in the SEC, I believe we could recruit on the very same level as Bama, UGA, OSU, or Oklahoma every single year. Clemson in the SEC is about the only way I see Dabo's saying about the best is yet to come ever happening bc, it is really hard competing with the Bama's in recruiting from the ACC year in and year out!!!! Also for the ones that believe our academic level would drop if we were in the SEC, I say BS bc, Vandy, Florida, and Kentucky all have high academic standers. Plus there is a new rule for HS recruits coming into college sports, mainly FB...
https://www.espn.com/blog/sec/post/_/id/43024/new-freshmen-eligibility-standards-comingNew freshmen eligibility standards coming Academic change is coming to college sports. And if you ask me, it's the good kind of change.Starting in 2016, the toughest initial-eligibility requirements ever for student-athletes will be hitting a college campus near you, ESPN's Mitch Sherman writes. Clemson wouldn't have to be dumber just to be in the SEC!!!

In the voters’ defense, four or arguably 5 of our wins could have gone either way at the very end. Win the last two and we’ll definitely end the season ranked in the teens.

with the Coaches' Poll are about as worthless as hind titttts on a boar hog.
Secondly, years ago I surmised that most AP voters were lazy-asssssed morons who rely upon Saturday scores to cast ballots. That's because most are recovering from hangovers Sunday morning and simply regard their voting as a nuisance. Many are highly prejudicial, as apparently are the coaches.
Once the CFP was created, the AP and Coaches' Polls should have been discontinued with entities like ESPN ceasing their publication due to their possible prejudicial influence on committee members.
