The 8 mins that make the difference

Chris Fowler mentioned last night how Clemson focuses on the last 4 mins of the first half and first 4 mins of the second half

So far this year Clemson is 41 to 20 in the last 4 mins of the first half and 35 to 7 in the first 4 mins of the second Half.... very impressive!

But they have gotten better each game
Last 3 games Clemson 24 to 7 in the last 4 mins of 1st half and 21 to 0 in the first 4 mins of the 2nd half.

Lets keep doing more of this!

If our team wasn't as talented as it is, we would be 5-2 today, and I'm dead serious in believing that bc, if not for our talent, and our two deep level of talent with our defense, we would have lost to Wake, and NC State, and maybe FSU. But I think the FSU game ended the way that it did, is bc Dabo and coaches went into a don't lose mod after we went up 20 points, and that move came really close to biting them square in the A$$. Once you take a team out of a high energy seek and destroy mode that they were in coming back after the half, it is very, very hard to get them back up to that high level for a second time in a matter of minutes once you have been allowed to relax. Actually, it's almost impossible to bring them back up to that same type of high energy level once that have relaxed into a cruising mode. FSU fed off our relaxed state, and they saw blood and went after the kill, and we were lucky that the time remaining wasn't on their side. Another first down for them, they could have won the game!!!!
