You can't come up with any politically-related messaging that might be an impetus for such an egregious act of violence?
Do you believe there should be an investigation? Should the attacker should be prosecuted? Should he be subject to some punishment? Or is a citation enough in your opinion?
If the person attacked was your father, do you have the same answers?

Ah, if you really believe he should be investigated and prosecuted, how can you be part of the left when every day people that do much worse than this suffer no consequences? They go to the police station and are out in a few hours.
How can you vote for the people and party that support no bail?
And, BTW wouldn't it be interesting to ask this perpetrator if he had ever rioted, looted, smashed and grabbed, or been convicted for a prior crime? Because there is a decent probability he has, and there is a direct correlation between the democrat soft-on-crime policies and increased violence.
It's on you and your way of thinking and doing.
