Many people don’t take the vaccine because they don’t like the government telling them what to do, even though taking the vaccine means you’re helping your fellow man and your country.
So it only seems logical that these people also would be opposed to being drafted into the military? Will not wear a seatbelt because they don’t like being told what to do? Just saying

Yawn, I think there are more people that mooch off the working class with food stamps/ gobment aid than there are “draft dodgers” this day in age. Hey, if you are going to collect food stamps each month, at least have the courtesy to help out the ones that are working for your food and get vaccinated!

Hey if workers are required to be vaccinated in their occupation for money, so should the ones who receive government aid. Also, I stated that you wouldn’t see a draft this day in age.
FYI, I would fight for my country and I’m also vaccinated.

I think it should be up to the employer to make this decision, not the fed fyi. And when you consider 10% of the population is deemed too stupid to be accepted by any branch of the armed service(IQ under 84), even during wartime, when they are desperate, it stands to reason they are likely incapable of holding a meaningful job. But I guess their kids should starve?

If drafted I would gladly serve my country. I choose to wear my seat belt every time I get in my truck because it helps protect me. I choose to not take the vaccine because I have previously had Covid. Any questions?

Yes, many people would oppose being drafted, which is completely different. The vaccination is nothing. The draft is way different. The draft, depends on the war. If I were drafted for Vietnam I would have hoped I would have refused to go. If I would have been drafted for a war like the last one in Iraq, I would have refused to go. I think everyone would have gone to WWII. ANyway, the vaccination is easy. People are freaking out about nothing.

I would T call it nothing. The side effects can be real and in some cases deadly. Yeah, I know those numbers are not huge but they are real.

Yeah, but nothing compared to the deaths or even "just" being hospitalized for the non vaccinated. It's such a longshot. I don't care if people get vaccinated or not to an extent, but I hate the way they clog the beds and hospitals and could slow the economy.. I think just about everyone should, because it really is no big deal generally. That said, if people don't want to get it, don't get it. They shouldn't freak out if their job requires it though. Go find a job where they don't require it. I remember when I was younger I wouldn't work certain places because they required a haircut, so I worked places where I didn't have to follow that rule. I used to avoid jobs where they had uniforms or tested for weed as well. I found other ones. If I really wanted those jobs I would have complied with their policies.

You wouldn’t work a job where they tested for weed? Lol. As far as the long shot dangers from the vaccines obviously I know hundreds of people who took the shots and had no problems But in my little world I personally know 2 dead and know of another through a friend. All were healthy and died from a clotting disorder within days of the shot. The most recent funeral I attended was 2 weeks ago. So long shot sure but the numbers are high enough to be a concern.

Yeah I wouldnt work a job where I was tested for weed when I was 17..yes. That was very common. I would just go get another so I could do what I wanted. You don;t know one person who has died from the vaccine. Definitely not 2. That is the biggest bulshyatt that's ever been written on Tnet. Come on bud. Nobody is believing that.

Yeah I know youre either misguided or full of it. Yes you went to funerals. It wasn't brought on by the vaccine with the limited amount of people you know. By the way, with the vaccine it usually happens with woman and their ages are much younger than you are and under 50. You're misguided. You just attributed to the vaccine because you knew some people that died. By the way, at your age, probably mid 60's, you will know more people to die of something similar, but it won't be vaccine related.

You very well might, but on this issue you would be a national story. Women under 50 are who has the issue and it's rare. You don't know that many tens of thousands of people and they aren't women under 50. You are telling the truth as you thought, but it isn't likely accurate.

That’s the whole point T3. What is the lesser of the two evils? I feel like people don’t think that through sometimes, although you apparently have.
I’m sorry some of you have known people that have had bad reactions to vaccines, but you have to look at it from 30,000 feet. Not from people you know. That’s just not relevant to the big picture. Personally I know of dozens of people that have died from Covid. I don’t know one person that’s had an issue with the vaccine, beyond the normal side effects a day or two after you take the shot. But not to talk in circles. It doesn’t really matter about my personal anecdotal circumstances. You have look at the high level statistics.

Remember the kids who listened to their parents? They tend to live longer, healthier, lack criminal records, graduated college, etc. Then there were the kids who refused to listen. They would not do something simply because their parents told them to. Like son, don't stick that fork in that outlet. And they'd do it anyway. And even after the electrocution, when they say son don't play with those matches, they still burn the house down.
Well grow those sets of kids up and you have Murica today.

in countries with very high vaccination rates, you find many more vaccinated people in the hospitals than unvaccinated. That is starting to be the case in the US as well.

T3 , I agree with you. I’ve never told these people to not get the vaccine. It reduces Covid risks but the vaccines are not without risks themselves. That’s all I’m saying. I personally know 2 people dead from the vaccine. I’ve been called a liar on the board but I really don’t care. I want people to know these vaccines are not “totally safe” as the president claims. Unfinished seems to know all about the ages and gender of the 2 I know based on “statistics”. Well he’s wrong. Both were males ages 62 and 55. Both were absolute fitness freaks. They are dead now. People can believe what they want.
By the way, I asked a tech who does echocardiograms if she sees a lot of Covid patients. She said “I see a lot of vaccine patients”. So, laugh away people. Same people that laughed a year ago when I said natural immunity is great protection are laughing now at the deaths of my friends and calling me a liar.

what to do" and being forced to put something into one's body against one's will, just to be clear. Furthermore, all citizens definitely would not agree that vaccines or the draft help their fellow man or their country. I'm not saying they are correct, or that's what I believe, but that's what a lot of people believe.
