if you hold the ball out of bounds as you cross the goaline, it's not a TD. Same logic should apply to first downs.

Yup. Total embarrassing screw job to favor Ga., as it has been all night. These refs are doing any and everything to insure Ga. advances. Just as they did for Michigan but they could not pull it off. Horrible.
