Robert Knemdiche

Nov 2, 2012, 5:38 PM

All right, We REALLY need this guy to stay committed. I understand his mothers opinions mean alot to him as they should. I just hope that if he really wants to come to Clemson, that he will convince her to take a visit and see what a great University we have. He needs to speak to CJ Spiller..had the same problem but has become one of our greatest Alumni and still loves Clemson. Or Tony Steward...That had to be tough with his mom sitting right beside him wanting him to go to FSU. Bottom line is..ultimately its his decision. I hope he understands that with him and the other commits we have on defense, that we have a chance to elite. Everybody knows with the offense we have..all we need is a great Defense to be unstoppable. GO TIGERS!!!! Here's to Robert being ALL-IN

All we can do is keep recruiting him, and I like the way we

Nov 2, 2012, 5:46 PM

are recruiting these days. This young man is facing incredible pressure from the media and alumni of other schools. He is in a tough place right now. This reminds me of the situation with Herschel Walker, who loved Danny Ford and Clemson, but in the final analysis he couldn't withstand the pressure from UGA alumni in his town, the pressure his mother's employer put on her, and all the relentless hounding from others. It's just part of the recruiting game, and there is nothing we can do but put our faith in our proven recruiting efforts and hope for the best. In the final analysis, it's up to the young man.

I believe that you are as close as can be with the pressure being put on Robert. He has more people pulling at him to go some where else besides Clemson. And with his older brother and his mom dead against him going any where other than Miss state has to be tough for Robert. Maybe he should ask his family if it matters to them where he wants to go.

I promise: Dabo knows what he is doing.

Nov 2, 2012, 5:46 PM

If there is any chance - 1 in a million - to keep him, Dabo will.

That would be the truth.***

I agree. Dabo is one heck of a recruiter. I like our chances with him. I feel that RN will sign with us at the end of the day but yeah I have some concernes. At this point I would offer Ryan Carter as well.

People speak of Dabo being this great recruiter and he is. Now, obviously Alabama and Georgia and LSU and other schools have recruitiers just as good as Dabo. They seem to be able to get talent too and a lot of it.

Actually they don't have as good of a recruiter. They have the name to promote them (SEC). Bama and LSU have won NC the last few years and that helps them recruit. But as far as better recruiter Dabo has to be the best. after a 6-7 season how many would have been able to pull in a top 10 recruiting class. answer zero (0).

don't forget that 2 of his current teammates(including his best friend) are also committed to us,and his qb from last year is already here.does he want walk out on them?i think these commits work well for us.other schools don't have that advantage. on the other hand clowney made a "business decision"(whatever that means)based on his mother's liking usuc.so it all distills down to a crapshoot right now.
