Bored, so watching QB KBryant & #1 Tigers vs Miami in ‘17 ACCCG

and he’s throwing the short to intermediate passes left & right to various receivers and is 7 of 7 and a 14-0 lead in 1st qtr against that Chain-wearing gang of Hurricanes with Ga’s former HC Mark Ritcht.
KB2 got great win that night in CLT and had Clemson still ranked #1 going into semi-CFP vs Bama and there he hesitated to throw against them too often and ran too often which eventually caused us to get behind the sticks and all hail broke loose when he “had” to throw and had tipped balls & INT’s which caused game to get out of hand in late 3rd & 4th.. plus our super D finally got stretched & tired.
Disappointing his next year got off to a rather slow start and he decided to leave when TL16 took over around 4th game..but remember he excelled on his own in 2017 after being a lesser talented QB and waiting to take over from the great DW4 who left year before.
I still thank KB for the good times & wins he gave Clemson and who could forget his big smile & big personality but his quitting tarnished a lot of his positives.
Note: ETN was a freshman RB along with Feister.

Field position absolutely crushed us early in semi game. We still had a chance. Your assessment is spot on LBB. But a pet peeve of a lot of us has been the less than stellar oline play. So, yes, KB was a number 1 draft pick QB but he was good enough. Had we been a little more stout on the oline KB would have completed some TD passes. Routes opened but no time for KB to see them. Plus, we could have run more too with a better line. Would have taken the heat off the D.
Dabo's the best but can't understand why we haven't had better oline.

You are correct about the oline that night. I don’t know the correct football term but, Clemson shifted an additional player toward the line to try to give Bryant more time.
Clemson has got to somehow get an upgrade to oline production.

Hopefully not TMI but that night I was in a rehab facility following Heart surgery. I was still in kind of a “brain fog” but I knew that game was coming on and I pulled the TV (on a swinging stand) in front of my face and watched!! The Tigers helped pull me through!
