but since my Dad attended UNC-CH 1 year b/4 WW2, it was Baby Blue Bellies for me..plus i dribbled a Baby Blue & White basketball around til age 17 when I moved from CLT to G'ville SC and visited Clemson campus & a football game in 1958..

and fell in love, turned Orange in my heart and returned home and put that ball up, forever!

Ha..but it's still a favorite place for me what with beautiful old campus, varied architecture, neat Kenan Stadium where Tigers have won some great games..

and I was born in the Tar State.

My dad graduated from UNC during WWII in Naval ROTC so I was a fan for all of my early years. Got accepted there and USC but chose Clemson due to getting an air conditioned dorm as a freshman. One of the best decisions in my life.
