Toe came down inbounds before heel came down. Horrible call.

If the heels come down... it must be inbounds too I believe

Unfortunately the rule is if your heel comes down out of bounds the catch is considered out of bounds. I think it’s a stupid rule; especially because if you make a diving catch, all you have to do is drag your toes to keep the catch in bounds. Somehow falling backwards or coming down straight changes that. It makes no sense but it is indeed the rule.

I only learned this after I googled the rule after this happen to us earlier this year.
