Anybody else not voting?

Nov 4, 2014, 10:08 AM

Not worth my time or effort.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not voting is senile and irresponsible.***

Please forgive me, @IneligibleUser

Just like Nancy's Tate's play calling and defense!

Nov 4, 2014, 10:10 AM

See it really all does relate back to State!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That should be the caption for the junge

IF YOU DON'T VOTE, THEN DON'T COMPLAIN!

Nov 4, 2014, 10:09 AM

Otherwise I have no problem with you not voting.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I don't like politics or any politicians.

Nov 4, 2014, 10:11 AM

Does that count as complaining? Other than that, I just live my life according to whatever rules those fools up in Washington have set up.

It really boils down to one thing:

Nov 4, 2014, 10:13 AM

If you don't vote today, then you can't write me in for president. And if you don't write me in for president, then you will not garner an invitation to my super huge Red Lobster victory dinner, with all seafood being flown in fresh from Louisville.

SO IS IT WORTH YOUR TIME AND EFFORT NOW, SMART GUY?!?!!?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Even when I have voted, I don't remember the last time

Nov 4, 2014, 10:15 AM

I voted for either the Republican or Democrat candidate. Probably the first Bush election. It's just a waste of time.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

No, it would have been the 2nd Bush election

Nov 4, 2014, 10:16 AM

I wasn't old enough for the first one.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You have a point, particularly in Presidential elections.

Nov 4, 2014, 10:17 AM

The electoral college definitely diminishes the value of a single vote unless you happen to be in a tight race in a swing state.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I meant, even in lesser elections than President...

Nov 4, 2014, 10:18 AM

I don't remember the last time I voted for a Republican or Democrat. I think I voted for Joe Wilson once. I'm not in his district anymore (thanks, gerrymandering!), but even if I were, I wouldn't vote for him, because he's already been in Congress long enough.
