He wouldn't have had so many ACC schools in the mix if that was truly the case. The vibe I've picked up from Lawson was that proximity to home is one of his most important things. He's really close to Carl Sr. and everyone knows about his dad's kidney issues. It's no surprise to me the GT is in the picture.

Mike Pelton (Georgia Tech), Rodney Garner (Auburn), Charlie Harbison (Auburn) and Marion Hobby (Clemson) are all black.

It just means he doesn't feel the absolute need to go to the SEC. We have just as good a shot as anybody else now, I think. Before, it really seemed like Tennessee would win him over.

And I'm a student at GT.
Why anyone would want to go to this school is completely beyond me. If he's stupid enough to go to school at Tech, I can't wait to watch B Thom pancake his a$$.
Hopefully this is just because of his dad and some AJC bull. Georgia Tech is the absolute worst college experience south of the Mason-Dixon. Why anyone would choose to go here is beyond me, especially when they'd major in business and be an athlete.
Dabo's going to reel him in though. Then he can have a hay day over the GT high school O-Line and their pu$$y a$$ cut blocks.
