Maybe it's not all about YOU?? I enjoy following and pulling for the Tigers. They don't always win but I always support them. Go Tigers!

Do you enjoy losing? How about getting blown out repeatedly?

How about a situation where the coach has seemingly lost his team? Following and supporting the team doesn’t mean you have to enjoy the product that has been put on the court the last couple of weeks.

....read into our basketball team's prognostications.
Clemson has been so bad at basketball for so long that even our own fans don't know what a good basketball team/program looks like.
We're like the Gamecocks in football, we just care less.

I admit, I got really excited by our hot start. I allowed myself to get reeled in, but here we are, about like I figured.

I'm with you Smiling. Things have turned out to be the same'ol same 'ol. Don't know how a team can go from what we were seeing at the first of the season to what we are seeing now. This team appears to be a shell of its former self.

skills or athletic abilities. They can still run just as fast and jump just as high as they could a month ago, and are just as capable of shooting and scoring as they were then. It's something else ...

Well, the only left I guess is that Brownell has lost this team.

But technically it still has a chance to “age well.”
Not saying things will get much better. I doubt they will. But ...what if they could somehow make the Final 4? That would probably be the best Clemson team ever. I’m just saying...

that post at the time - one would have to forget Skip, Tree, Wright, Grant, Davis and Campbell, none of which Simms / Dawes get close to - but the post wasn't that far off. We really were playing at a #12 level, and we haven't seen that for a while. The issue is not how good we were a month ago, or who got on the bandwagon, but what causes a team to just completely give up, overnight, like they did.
The game yesterday was sad to watch, not for what happened on the court but that a coach puts up with it. Simms was putting in effort, but as a whole you want to see a coach with the guts to sit them all down and play the walk ons until somebody decides they want to be a basketball team. Trotting those same guys out there every night to miss 5 foot shots and stand around on defense shows no pride. I wouldn't play them.
But we've said all this. My saying it again isn't news.
