A couple of times I've heard the reference made that the WRs have one route assignment
regardless of the defensive alignment. In the defensive alignment would determine the WR assignment at the line of scrimmage(variation of the play called). I find it difficult to believe that the WRs now have so little responsibility and that the route wouldn't change with the def set; anyone know if there is any truth to this?
