players make $8000 a week, $136,000 per year. That would be EXCEPTIONALLY good money for anyone just starting out with a college degree. The downside is, league rules limit a player to 3 years on the same teams practice squad. Huggy has a shot at getting promoted if he keeps grinding.

I won't be surprised if he makes a roster. He is a grinder, and he certainly was a great performer for us. He just happened to come to us during a time we had a super class of guys on the roster. He would have started for lots of other good teams, IMO.
