Mafah is the real deal........

watched him at Grayson and, if he can stay healthy, he might be one of the best to ever play RB at Clemson. He's used to the competition and you could see that today. Shipley did fine but Mafah has a burst and can avoid folks but he's plenty big enough to truck a DB if necessary. As thin as our QB room is, our RB room is loaded.

Mafah is special and he will continue to improve because he will put in the work. A great kid from a great family.

Mark it down.

just kind of shook off the first tackler looked like one of those Bama backs. Like Priester used to do all the time. He didn't hit him with a burst of speed and run over him, he just shook him off.....

We better be VERY selective running DJ this year. The good news is we have a lot of offensive weapons from which to choose.

Dabo’s offense relies on running the QBs...heck TL16 ran a lot even with ETN for 3 years.***

That’s not to say that we can’t ever run the QB, but the risk vs. reward isn’t in our favor to do it much.

Yep. DJ better start practicing sliding. I do not want to see him lower a shoulder unless it is absolutely necessary. And not early in a game.
