Why I will not be at the basketball game tomorrow night ...

1. I don't have a ticket.
2. It is too late; have to be up for a 7:30am meeting on Wednesday morning.
3. The deafening toot of the trumpets.
4. We ain't Duke.
5. I have to mentor someone.
6. I am not 18 years old or younger.
7. I am not a teacher (although I do teach a Bible class on Sunday).
8. I have a HD TV with a HD tuner.
9. I may have to stop and get gas.
10. The weather may not cooperate.
11. I would rather post negative/positive comments on TheTigerNet.
12. Still bitter over the SCar/Clemson baseball series over the past 30 games
13. Jack may still be coaching after the WCU game tomorrow afternoon.
14. Those steps ... whew!
15. I'm an engineer, and we can't have fun.

You forgot to mention the dinner situation. You might have to eat dinner slightly earlier than normal.
