We only "slow played" his recruitment, because he said he wasn't interested in attending Clemson. As bad as JD wanted his brother at Clemson, Mike didn't want it. He may have wanted to be his own man, or maybe he was afraid he never could live up to his big brother's legacy, but he was determined not to come to Clemson. We did the right thing by looking for those who did. IMO

Yep. He never wanted to come to Clemson. His loss! I say that, not because I think he wasn't a good RB for them when he was healthy, but he certainly would have been exposed to a lot higher character standards, and he probably would be leaving with a degree. At the very least he would be farther along than he probably is now.

not correct..we did not give him the "super star" treatment that he thought he should have received after he committ to Fla. after we lost Gurley and Marshall we did go after him harder but he was already pissed!!

Why wouldn't we have gone after Gurley and Marshall more? I believe they were higher touted prospects, and we were in it with both of them until right up to the bitter end. MD had shown us very little interest. Who knows how he would have done at Clemson, and he was a good back for usuc, but he wasn't the reason they beat us while he was there. IMO

NFL teams go through RBs like candy these days and most teams rotate 2-3 backs so there are plenty of spots to go around. He's the right build for an NFL back.
I don't know how successful he will be, but he will definitely get his chances.

I was skinny as a youth, and when I see people from my youth that haven't seen me in years they are surprised by how much muscle I have added over the years. Without going into too many details, I was a heavy binger from the ages of 15-24. I wrecked cars, got arrested a couple of times, woke up beside women I had no business sleeping with and dragged my tail to work with many a hangover. For a few years I stopped drinking. With the help of some close friends, I decided to make a change and start drinking again. I've never been prouder of any accomplishment in my life, and that includes graduating from college with honors and carrying on a rather successful professional career. Drinking has helped to get women to talk to me again. When I wasn't drinking there wasn't a single woman who would even take a look at my face, but when I started drinking at bars again I was able to meet women again. AA meetings are only really helpful if you're an especially spiritual person, and I'm not that spiritual. Thanks for looking out, though. And I've never heard of an anger management course.

And quit projecting yourself on to me. You and your buddies started this months ago, and have refused to stop. I guess you will continue to do it since the mods continue to protect you. after a few days. Bmeist did delete one of my sig's though, but it had nothing to do with your troll clique. Bmeist took down a pic I had in my sig of the model Adriana Lima. That's the only one of my sigs that got deleted. See the mods will delete stuff of mine that really isn't even inappropriate. You were posting pics of cheerleaders and the mods didn't delete those. Like I said before, the mods are lenient on you and your troll buddies.

I guess we'll all find out on draft day. The NFL draft is always full of surprises--some players go higher than expected, some lower, and others undrafted. It's kinda like the game itself; there's a reason it's played on the field and not on the message boards.
