What channel will the game be on on DirecTV

In Charleston?

Hoping it's not supposed to be on CBS because it is off until DirecTV and channel 5 come to an agreement on fees.

pretty sure that 5(CBS) is the ACC affiliate in Charleston

looks like you caught a break as it is not CBS-- My TV in Charleston(WMMP-36). Hopefully DTV is not in dispute with them.

It has nothing to do with what major network the station is

affiliated with-- the ACC Network varies from city to city as the individual stations within in a market sign-on to the ACC Network. It can be Fox(Columbia) in one city, My in another, CBS, NBC, ABC etc. Sometimes if there is a major conflict(this happens more for Basketball) then the channel in the market may release the game to another channel. If CBS is the ACC Network channel in Charleston, then they may not carry the game this w/e due to the US Open(perceived bigger event than SC State Game). If that is the case, the game could end up on another digital channel they own or own another channel entirely because they released it. Direct TV customers in Charleston that are CU fans are probably hoping this is the case as it will end up on another channel that is not in the dispute.
