At times. But, admittedly, more people do it to me.***

How is Tulsa? i'm assuming that's where you live. I've never visited.

Thank you for asking. We lived in Tulsa for a long time,

from the mid 90's to almost 2010, raised two kids there. One went to OK State (hence my Mike Gundy pic) and still lives in OKC with our two grandkids. Tulsa is a fabulous city, and OK is a wonderful environment, a great place to raise a family. Most of OK is dry, and mesas, but Tulsa is very much like Greenville: if I took someone from, say, Idaho and plucked them down in each for 20 minutes they would never guess they were 1000 miles apart. More freshwater shoreline than any state, surprisingly. We loved it, and if an opportunity comes to move back we will.

The culture is very egalitarian. Laid back, but capable. Whatever you want to try, you'll get support, with minimal detractors. People pull for each other. Easy place to be and live.

But we've been back in SC (Greenville) since 2012. We love Greenville too, don't get me wrong, and we love SC: born and raised here. This is the place we're from, that is the place we fell in love with. If you get a chance, go.

How about you?

We're going back in May to visit kids and friends:

Sounds like a nice place.

I have been in the Charlotte since 2007. Got my lady in Greenville in 2013, and she moved here. Lived in Greenville, and Chicago a little while, before moving here. I really like Charlotte. We've been here in a time of high growth for the city. I'm on the 5 year plan now, and will likely move back to the upstate... or maybe Colorado or France :).
