For those keeping track, in 10 of 12 games against....

FBS teams......
That is FOURTY SIX drops. 46! Not questionable "well the QB threw it too hard" or "defender made a play", but FOURTY ***** SIX drops when the receiver had TWO hands on it......
I don't care if you believe in DJ or CK coming in, UNTIL this WR corps makes the routine catches, we are going to be stuck in neutral.
It's time to ask the question, is Grisham ready to be the WR coach?

And that is for one of the most talented WR rooms Clemson has ever had... seems like there could be some development issues.

full season once this game is over. Gotta put some of the stupidity from our fan base to rest (like I did earlier this year with the drops tracker posts).

Well said. Some Tnet posers can't see beyond their own

beer belly to see we've had many drives stall/die because of dropped balls by wide receivers and Shipley. Shipley could have used another year under LJD as well to learn the running back catching game.

You work him harder, drill him with the machine till he gets it.
Actually he probably never drops a machine psss. Most of these drops for all of them is not being focused during the game. Almost every drop is from them taking their eyes off the ball!
Fundamentals!

4 drops this game but also 4 terrible throws too. It's a group effort to look this bad this year. That's a trust issue between qb and receivers imo.

DJ aint been perfect (I'm not defending him right now because he has his fair share of the blame), but we are not QBU, we are WRU. There is ZERO excuse to have WRs dropping passes when the ball hits them in BOTH hands....

46 drops maybe….but how many times has DJ overthrown or under-thrown passes this season…..awhole lot more than that….and most of them were short passes under 10 yards…he really struggles out there and it ain’t getting any better!

DJ has his fair share of the blame, but you can't claim to be WRU and drop 46 passes that the receiver has 2 hands on.....

You know who recruited the majority of these guys right? Jeff Scott. The Collins boys are the best we got and they are true freshman. It starts by evaluating the talent and bringing in the right guys.

yep, but once they get on campus, where is the development? That's the bigger issue. I thought coaches were held accountable for their recruiting and development because even the main guys (before they got hurt) have had the same issues (dropped passes, poor blocking down field). Ngata is a textbook example of that.
