Yes, it was a natty for them. They've won 8. Last in 2009 though. I watched every second on the edge of my seat like a Clemson game.
I cried right along Pough. Great win. Great recognition for our state.

Great rebound for them after starting 1-4. The way they talked about the zero chance SCSU had in this game, you would have thought Jackson State was in the SEC.

Then beat the hype man. Bigly.

Coach Pough and his Dawgs taught him a little yesterday. He thought they would just show up, collect their winning trophy, and he would get to make a rousing speech about how great he was for college football. Them getting landblasted was never even a possibility on his agenda.

Per article in the Chicago Tribune it is a national championship game for”historically Black Colleges and Universities”. Apparently that isn’t the only one they have won.
