Tee Higgins

Nov 13, 2018, 9:33 PM

We can all agree that this kid can make some amazing catches. But, what I love is seeing him downfield knocking the hell out of someone blocking for a teammate. Kid loves to hit!!!

I think the coaches do a good job with teaching down field blocking, HR can lay a block.

And the more I thought about that catch he made on the sideline this week (the one where he slid down on his back and caught the ball on his chest), the more impressed I was with that play.

The thing about it is, there was no time to decide "hey, I think I can get to that"...he just instinctively went all-out for the catch. It was a split-second reaction and not a decision. How many players would have just pulled up (given up) when they saw the throw was going behind them? He's already got it in his head that anything near him is his ball...I love it. :)
