Teams we lost to are 23–4 combined

Teams we beat are 25-29. The best team we beat has 4 losses, the same as the three who beat us combined.

What does this mean?

We have yet to beat a good team. That makes us not good. Stay tuned for further excellent analysis.

Obviously it means you have to be pretty good to beat these Tigers. Which, by our standards, is a pretty bad team.

I agree with your assessment. We have not beat any good teams, which would not matter if we were undefeated (see UTSA).

But we lost three games against good to great teams. We are just unlucky the ACC is not the SEC or Big Ten, where our wins would just mean more.

Now for my sunshine pumping to defend that the Tigers are NOT a bad team...

Lost to #1 GA on a pick six
Lost to NC State in double overtime at their place. Home teams get 3 points; therefore, if I reach (which I am) we beat them in regulation.
Lost to PItt at PItt. They got a pick six also, and if we get 3 points it goes to overtime. Actually, they just beat us, but at this point we had so many injuries.

With all that said, Clemson is a good team and probably could beat nearly half of the top 25. Maybe a reach, but when our defense was at full strength we held the #1 team 's offense to 3 points.
