Another flat basketball

Well, looks like another year of no NCAA Trny and now not even the NIT! IMO we do need a new coach. This has been the same story for too long. We get a decent win or two and people forget about the big picture.

The game we lost to VT in OT in the tournament was a coaching loss I believe. 7 seconds left on the clock and you let the best 3 pt shooter (50+%) on the other team get the ball dribble down court for 4 seconds and hit the game winning 3 with 3 seconds left. One terrible loss.

I know a lot of people think it isn't the coach and he should stay, but you won't convince me. I know CU is a football school, but look at other "football" schools (Ohio St, Auburn, Alabama, SoCal, Texas, etc...) who are in the trny each year and this is the ACC so there should be no shortage of candidates.

I will have to agree with you on this one. Their best three-point shooter was guarded by Honor, the shortest guy in our team. At that time, I was wondering why Honor was even in the game; we have bigger guards who might have put more resistance. But again, I am not the one who sees them practicing every day. Maybe the other guys cannot defend.

Good point, I mean I get pressuring the ball, but why let their best 3 point shooter even get the ball??? Heck, even foul and make them shoot 2 free throws to tie is prob as good an option, even though I know they wouldn't do that.

It was actually Dawes that was guarding Madox for Virgina Tech.
