What will be the outcome tonight? I swear I have no idea. Clemson has struggled lately. UNC has looked better but at times just awful. I said a month ago I thought Clemson was one of the best 3 in the league ( you can check my posts, lol ). I still think Clemson can be one of the better teams so I’m scratching my head lately. I can see UNC winning by 15 or losing by 15. Neither would shock me.

here's how i see it..
if the Tiger guards play/shoot well, it should be a very good game.
if the Tiger bigs can deal with the 4 big Heels, it should be a very good game
if the Tiger guards don't/can't score and the Tiger D doesn't defend the paint and contest every rebound, the Heels will likely dominate... Brooks, Bacot, and Sharpe can all score and rebound
before the last couple of weeks, i thought the Tiger guards were better than the Heels' freshmen, but lately Roy has only been playing one of them at the time and the Heels have been playing better recently.
Simms is a nightmare match-up for the Heels. he might have to carry all the freight tonight
i think it will be close...
the Heels do not shoot all that well, do not shoot FTs very well, and are not the typical transition savvy group that Roy puts on the floor

Pretty good assessment. Simms scares me. If he’s on he can have a huge game. I’m not sure we can defend that guy.

i think we will see a bunch of different guys on Simms: Brooks, Bacot, Sharpe, and Leaky Black
Black might be the best defender, but isn't strong enough to hang with Simms in the post

If Clemson can score early and make some baskets, then I think it is a close game that Clemson finds a way to win.
If Clemson has only 2-4 points in the first 5 minutes, then UNC will blow us out. I know that we need to play this game in the mid-50s, but our confidence is so low that if we don't score early, we won't score much at all.

Yeah I’ve followed Clemson all year. I live in the area so I follow them closely. Clemson is a good team. I still think that 9-1 Clemson team is in them. It looks really bad but I still think they will break out.
