That guy can bring the lumber too. Good for him.

Seems like that would be a great position for him naturally.

Since High School, it seemed to me he was a natural OLB.

But never was put there.

Well he wasn’t going to beat out Isaiah Simmons, that’s for sure. His top end speed was what kept him at safety in venables D

That must have been a devastating blow when tanner heard

I'll never forget his humbleness on the field

Re: SWAG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, but he did have a tendency to get burned. A lot of these guys go for the ball and when they miss it ends up being a big play. When you take a gamble like that you better catch that ball or knock it down.

He reminds me a lot of Delton Hall. I was good friends with Delton back in the 80s when he played for Ford and I was in his dorm room hanging out one night when his agent called and said Dallas was thinking about drafting him. He is one of the fastest players we have ever had at Clemson but that was also his weakness. He would take bad angles and gamble because he thought his speed could make up for any mistakes he might make. Sometimes he didn’t know how to control that speed.

I see those same flaws in Tanner’s game. He is incredibly fast but not very good at making quick adjustments and sometimes he will take a bad angle or gamble by going after a ball and that combination causes him to give up some big plays.

I always thought that Tanner was a little rigid in the hips and it caused him to take just a little longer to adjust his angle or react. I also think that sometimes he knew he could rely on his great top end speed and would gamble a little because of it.

In any case, I think he is one of my all-time favorites in the secondary...

I can't wait to see if he has perfected his celebration dance. I've liked Tanner from the jump. His bother, not so much.

Be careful talking smack about his brother!

You wouldn’t want this guy on your back side…I mean on his bad side.
