Take the high road. Be a Clemson Tiger.

Dec 21, 2014, 10:06 PM

Don't take the coot road and start talking garbage about a young man who got in trouble. Yes, he has worn orange and left, but we can still hope he sees the light and gets his life together. The only person that hurts when u speak poorly of a kid is you. I hate to see 19 and 20 year old kids torn apart by old men who made the same mistakes, but didn't get caught it did have blogs following their every move.

I do hope he gets his life together, but as far as same mistakes, nope. I never blatantly disrespected authority, felt entitled to anything, assaulted a police officer, or threatened anyone with an assault rifle.

^Well said^

His antics are what is disrespectful. I was happy for the kid until he went and pulled this stupid stunt. I am ok with a bar fight, lot's of people get into those, but the fact he said he would go and get his AK47 and shoot up the place? No thanks! He doesn't deserve my support after that stupid comment.
Here's to hoping he really does get straightened out before he ends up in a darker place.

I agree.

He needs help. He's gonna run up on the wrong one with that nonsense and pay the ultimate price. He still has his whole life ahead of him, I hate seeing someone with his potential just waste it away. Kids would kill for 1/2 his talent.

Kelly needs prayers. Hopefully this kid can get his life right and get whatever help he needs. He may have lost his way, but he still needs the support of Tiger Nation.

I'll definitely pray for him...he needs prayer

"Why Not Dabo"

Swag's behavior validates Dabo's decision to boot him...

...but that doesn't make me feel good about the trouble he is in. I hate it for him.

Odds that he lasts at the Division I level?

Sadly, I'd be surprised if he gets another shot to play major college football or any college football.

I think that alot of the responses on here are at least

partially due to the fact that he signed with Ole Miss. Had he ended up at another school, you may have seen more concern for his welfare as opposed to the hatred.

I don't see hatred as the general consensus. As far as I'm concerned, Chad messed up at Clemson and was held accountable. He asked for forgiveness from the Clemson family which most I feel would say they gave. He did what he had to at the JUCO level. He worked for and had been given a wonderful second opportunity. Just because I may laugh at some pure Tnet comedy gold does not mean I am not saddened to hear about his latest self destructive behavior. I pray for Chad and his family.
